You need to be strong, no matter what

Every moment judged you are, the world isn’t for the weak heart

You speak too loud, can you please tone down?

Oh your voice is too feeble, your softness is frowned upon

That short dress you wore, why don’t you dress a bit formal?

Look at her layers of clothing, can she even breathe normal?

Your opinions are too frank, little diplomatic can’t you be?

She just doesn’t speak her mind out, her self confidence we cannot see

Your laughter seems so flirtatious, can you mellow down a bit?

She seems to carry so much pride, her arrogance makes her such a misfit

You are fast tracking your career, isn’t your biological clock ticking apart?

She is just a stay at home mom, her career she does not want to restart

Your child is crying, your house is a mess, why don’t you hire some helping hands?

She just wants to sit and relax, so many others to run her daily errands

You asked for that deserved promotion, can you balance work and life?

She does not aspire to climb the corporate ladder, she is just a 9 to 5 type

You get emotional every now and then, can’t you just be composed?

Is she really rational or is she just cold and detached?

The tight rope that you walk, is a herculean act

For those who judge, are cowards who cannot digest the fact

Juggling so many balls, do not accept a compromise of any sort

You need to be strong, no matter what
