In a world where richness and material abundance can no longer buy happiness

In a world which is so connected yet you experience loneliness

In a world which is so fast that you struggle to keep up pace

In a world where expectations are so high that you feel a constant stress

In a world where you feel the virtues have lost the battle against the vices

In a world where based on race, color, sex, abilities, disabilities there is so much despise

This Diwali, let’s rekindle that positivity in our hearts

Let's fill our hearts with kindness and love, instead of filling our shopping carts

This Diwali, let’s rekindle the empathy lost

Let’s understand and accept, rather than trolling by default

This Diwali, let's strengthen those strained bonds

Let’s head back home, call that old friend, rather than sending emojis and e-cards

This Diwali, let’s search for those core values lost

Let’s be more content with what we have, rather than the fear of missing out

This Diwali, let’s celebrate in the old simple way

Let’s show gratitude for all that we have, rather than doing a pompous display
