Beyond words is the bond we share

There isn’t a language, but who really cares?

Happy you are, says your cute little smile

The sparkle in your eyes, shows your naughtiest profile

How curious you are, tell me your eyes, big and wide

I want to explore the world around, is what you confide

Your determined mind tells me you are ready to learn

Tackling the difficulties, you are a student every one yearns

Your mischievous laughter says you have a secret plan

You know how to throw a challenge well, sounds like catch me if you can

The sadness on your face also has a story to tell

Your fears and worries if only you could somehow spell

You had a disturbed sleep, was it the nightmare that kept you awake?

Seeing you in pain and discomfort is when my heart breaks

You try to approach them in a playful way, only to be greeted with mysterious stares

Dejected you feel, why do I have to try so hard just to endear?

You remain unfazed in this inhumane world, with confidence undeterred

Your silence at times is deafening, there is so much yet to be deciphered
